I love these threads. Reminds me of last year posters absolutely infuriated by our first strike approach saying it had to change…..when we were in Omaha….

We need to start pitching. Getting more than 1.2 innings from our starters in Regional play is not acceptable.

We need to start defending. Four errors in game 1 and 2 more in game 2 in Regional play is not acceptable.

(this can go on all day.)

Do some of you recognize that too much bunting is a negative recruiting point? Even Ryan said when the three hole hitter at tu put down a bunt instead of swinging away with traffic on the bases it could be used as a negative recruiting pitch.

You only get 27 outs. Why give any away? In rare instances it's a smart move but it should be a regular part of your offensive approach.

Seems like we went back to that grind the pitchers down approach during the playoffs this year.
