when's the last time Rudis went more than 1 inning?Bondag said:trouble said:
I think Stewart
I think he and Rudis eat up at least 6 innings the. Full staff from there.

Those of y'all who think winning an SEC Tournament doesn't matter, don't understand life. These are memories these guys will always have regardless of what happens in the regional, etc.
Another person who doesn't get it.
The "meaningless" argument is about how this game affects the NCAA tourney. And it doesn't affect it at all.
You might be as dumb as they come. It means a lot. It means moving from a 3 seed to a 2. It means figuring out pitching. It means getting momentum. It means they showed themselves they can beat anyone.
You should probably just stop posting at this point

Do we want to play Whistler or Gator tomorrow? I'm gonna say Whistler because they will be rough on pitching just like us.

Schloss just mentioned Dettmer pitching some tomorrow on the postgame set.
Yep, but it seems pretty silly for you and others to come on here and tell everyone it is a meaningless game. We all know what the game means in regards to the NCAA.AggieBand2004 said:Texagtrojan said:AggieBand2004 said:SABUILDERAG said:

We've been projected as a 2 seed since the last win. Hell, half of the projections showed us as a 2 after the first win in Hoover.

Is Reveille a south paw or a righty? She might have to pitch an inning or two tomorrow.

So you're admitting this tournament means something

Difference between a 2 and 3 is HUGE. You get to bat last in the opener. Also it could be the difference if you host a super or not. If the regional your paired with has an upset also then being a 2 is a huge advantage because they go with the better seed to host the super.
This is true but in the bigger scheme of things but in long run no one really remembers when you earn a Natty Seed. Folks remember winning trophies! Will I be mad if we fall short? No but I remember running around the house/backyard acting like a fool over winning "meaningless" Conference Tourney titles in '07, '08, '12 and '16!AggieBand2004 said:rgag12 said:Quincey P. Go tell the A&M celebrating team that it doesn't matter!!!
Good lord. It is meaningless in terms of the post season. The point isn't that hard to grasp.
Any title (NCAA or conference) is way more important than even being a top 8 seed
I don't think most players or coaches would agree.
They'd give lip service to the tourney title, but in reality, a national seed is a much bigger prize
I am in complete agreement.Agdad041216 said:
Look back in piss state. I said win it all and host. That's my plan.

This isn't necessarily the case. While it is part of the consideration, the other part comes down to your facilities and capacity. NCAA wants to make the most money possible after all.
Yes, yes you can. And, I pray all your dreams come true.Texagtrojan said:fightintxag13 said:tjack16 said:

Maybe they'll let DBU be a #1 and let us host it as a #2. I can dream

Four Seed? Not a chance in hell. Big Boy Conference teams don't make the field as a 4 Seed. At worse if the selection committee has overdone the hookers and blow, we'll remain at the 3 Seed that we were penciled in at the end of last weekend.
