Difference between a 2 and 3 is HUGE. You get to bat last in the opener. Also it could be the difference if you host a super or not. If the regional your paired with has an upset also then being a 2 is a huge advantage because they go with the better seed to host the super.

This is true but in the bigger scheme of things but in long run no one really remembers when you earn a Natty Seed. Folks remember winning trophies! Will I be mad if we fall short? Any title (NCAA or conference) is way more important than even being a top 8 seed
I don't think most players or coaches would agree.
They'd give lip service to the tourney title, but in reality, a national seed is a much bigger prize
Anyways, this tourney has to be a huge confidence boost for everyone on the team especially for our pitching staff.

Projected seed means nothing we're taking about the Ags and a selection committee here. I wouldn't be surprised with a 4 seed. Hell out wouldnt be the most shocking thing just because a selection committee is involved.

Four Seed? Not a chance in hell. Big Boy Conference teams don't make the field as a 4 Seed. At worse if the selection committee has overdone the hookers and blow, we'll remain at the 3 Seed that we were penciled in at the end of last weekend.

No I got it. Hence the "hookers and blow" worked into the reply.
If you're Schloss what do you do with Dettmer? Maybe let him pitch a couple of innings tomorrow and see if he can catch what's going around? I think he threw 67 innings Wed.
