This is why you leave celebration stuff to the players
Alot of this (so far with the exception of the SEC tournament) is because ESPN doesn't send these people to the actual games anymore since covid, they realized it's cheaper for them to announce from home which means they aren't as in tune with the game and atmosphere, so they carry on stupid conversations about things that don't matter or have nothing to do with the game. It is SUPER irritating. Either send they people back on the road or let the local people that call them games on the + streams call the games since they are actually on site.annie88 said:dixichkn said:
Yep. F'ing whistler
Good time to put it on mute and get caught up w my podcasts
What's even worse is their fans sit there and support that piece of **** and clap with him. Vanderbilt could have put this to bed years ago but they choose not to so they ruin it for everyone. It's bull*****
Do you know what else I'm getting really sick of this year? I guess it's been the last few years, these damn announcers just go on and on about all this random crap, topic after topic and never shut up and barely talk about the game half the time. It's just horrible. I get talking about some different things here and there but it just goes on too long. They are not John Madden. They can't get away with it.
I remember this guy in the Vanderbilt game who did our South Carolina football game last year and went on and on about the state fair. He's horrible.
I agree. We avoid Skenes and I think they threw their Saturday guy last night, right?AggieCrew44 said:
I prefer Arky to win this with regards to tomorrow. Think LSU runs out of pitching a lot faster than Arky
That was Tom Hart, wasn't it?jah003 said:Texker said:
One of Auburn-Vandy announcers had an unfortunate dyslexic moment in the B8 with 1-1 count with #51(a black player) at bat. He was trying to say "clock back", and well, it didn't come out quite that way. Can't turn the WHAT back? pic.twitter.com/5eE34LC2pf

They still have their Saturday guy Ty Floyd available but we roughed him up pretty good during the regular season. Arky still has Hunter Holland available (may use him today though)dixichkn said:I agree. We avoid Skenes and I think they threw their Saturday guy last night, right?AggieCrew44 said:

LSU's coach is looking foolish arguing an obvious call.TAMUallen said:
LSU's Cooper is a fat boy!
And whoa... catcher interference. Lsu is going to be pissssssed
Arkansas to win today. We beat LSU tomorrow, then I don't really care about Saturday as we will have won 3 games. I could just see us losing to Arkansas for a fifth time, then we end up on a regional paired with the Fayetteville regional, win that, then upset the Hogs in a super.dermdoc said:
I really, really, really really, hate both of their teams and fans.
There was two of them. Other one still there doing his stuff. Hence why I have another game on mute.Hornbeck said:
I heard the original whistler passed away, but you can bet in reincarnation amongst the landed gentry….
Probably talking a ton of sh** and getting a little over the line. Things got kinda chippy w Bama last night after that walk off shotmissinAggieland said:
For those watching this game (Vandy-Florida) on TV, are they showing what is going on with the Florida dugout?
After the HR, the ump spoke to the 1st base coach. He then motioned to the dugout. It looked like they were warned earlier, but we can't tell in the stadium.
why are they not supposed to do that?rausr said:

They get a double.
