Haven't a bunch of the transfers LSU got this year cited NIL as a reason why they went there? Seems par for the course.
NCAA needs to go ahead and allow for the 25 scholarships for baseball as well.

Tech's 2023 Baseball class is ranked 8th Nationally. They must be something right with NIL. Ags don't have a Top 10 class for 2023.

Basically the entire Athletics Department is owned and operated by two Tech Regents. They are bankrolling whatever it takes to be in the next realignment move.

As far as Title IX goes, all that has to happen there is the same number of scholarships go to women as men. So if baseball ups scholarships to 25, they'll have to give like 13.3 more female athletes scholarships. For NIL, that's on players to earn and not subject to NIL, I believe.
Yeah they are trying everything. They have created 501c's to do NIL, they now have a 501C that is leasing the football stadium from the school. They no longer have to have approval for assistant coaches contracts. Its become a corrupt organization but they plan on running it until it explodes.
Good for them for trying. Even if it isn't sustainable, they can say they went down swinging.
"Five figures" is purposely vague. Almost every power five has access to an average of 10k per player for the school year.
If you pay them, they will come!

I was told by a former player that everyone is getting $25k.
Our guys get $6k ea, and then other money on top of that for some of the better ones.

There are more well known programs conducted by entities like 12th Man+, Texags Stacked, The Warehouse, AO and whatever bail bondsman Jalen Preston is representing. There are also smaller collectives within each sport.
Title IX is a non issue. Just have some of the guys identify as women. Problem solved.

My neighbors dad is head of Scouting for the Midwest for the Phillies. He told me that kids are not signing later in the draft and opting to stay in school because they make more money in NIL than they do getting a small signing bonus and playing low A ball. Makes sense

Disagree. Schools should be able to choose NIL or scholarships, but not both.

And I should add that on top of the ridiculous trend of mediocre men deciding to compete as women, NIL will eventually lead to the end of Title IX, as NIL deals make it where not as many schollys are needed, which will decrease obligations to fund women's sports.
