LSU and UK tied in the b8. Two outs, runners on 1st and 2nd. UK issues IBB to Dylan Crews. I get it but that's crazy.

And the pitcher hits White on the first pitch. Tigers up 1. Still loaded 2 away.

Miss State just hit a two run hr bottom of the 7th to go up 6-5 on Ole Miss.

And it would drive me crazy if all those folks stood behind me on the concourse behind the club seats.

what a series in Baton Rouge.

Kentucky (28-7) retains the #1 RPI spot despite losing, but if the season ended today...not sure the 'cats would be a top 8 seed.

still missing a marquee series win

seems like an important rubber match between Alabama and Auburn today.

the SEC should get 8 teams in the field easily. Probably 9 and maybe 10.

the Tide and Tigers could both be at the cut line next month...as the 9th or 10th SEC team into regionals

checking in with the Big 12...

and the league looks like a bunch of 2-seeds again this year.

the sips have the highest RPI at #21. Then TCU at #31.

OKState has lost 5 straight and plummeted to #36.

#81 Kansas State is just a 1/2 game out of 1st place

The Mississippi State media guide has the audacity to tell me that this pitcher, Aaron Nixon, is six feet tall.

LMAO

He's around 5'11" 205. He was on our Banditos Scout teams and I know him well. Good kid has a Aggie girlfriend & he's close with a lot of the Banditos that play for A&M.

He's was pretty good for us. Went to tu as Pierce sold him that he could develop him. Was freshman All-American his first year. Then last year tu did nothing to keep developing him on the mound. I knew that Coach Foxhall at Miss St reached out to him and said that he could help him truly develop. He told him that he saw some things that tu wasn't doing and Foxhall said they could develop him. That's why he transferred to Miss St.

Which means they'll get 2 national seeds and 4 host spots. 8 bids overall.

KState scored 13 runs in the 2nd inning vs. the Jayhawks...

but KU has made it game.

Wildcats lead 21-17 in the 9th inning.

KSU won 21-18 --- wind must have been blowing out

oSu, UCLA, USC, and TCU need to fall out…but who takes their place? Dallas Baptist? UCSB? Maybe Indiana? I think UTSA for sure.

Tennessee's 5 series opponents left are Vandy, State, Georgia, Kentucky, and South Carolina. It would not be a huge shock for them to lose all 5 of those series. They only scored 9 runs ALL of last week. If they get swept next week, they'll almost have to win 3 of their remaining series just to MAKE the tournament.

what's interesting about that...

before the season numerous SEC and college baseball pundits trotted out the saying:

"it's usually the team after the team that wins the national title"

in this case...implying the 2023 Volunteers would avenge the highly-favored 2022 Volunteers
