It what happens when you have to replenish a team by hitting the portal. The frosh that are getting a ton of playing time are going to struggle.

I'm excited to see what Kaufer and Laviolette can develop into in a year or two.

Even with our struggles we are hitting enough to win. Pitching is letting the team down.

Back to the car. Zero internet inside Olsen tonight. The SEC ****ed us again with that bull**** HR/not HR call. That dip**** HP umpire was 100+ feet away from the umpire who correctly called it fair. And then that ****head 1B umpire sides with the dip**** HP jerk. I've never been more pissed in my life at the cheating incompetence of these guys and this conference.

I fell better now.

Even If the Ags are down to the do or die point in the season, I am afraid that our only chance for "doing" is to completely shake up our line-up and get a number of other guys in the game with something on the line. As far as starting pitchers, I am pretty much at a loss but perhaps Garcia or Aschenbeck could start a few games and see if they can get us past the 4th inning with less than a 2-4 run deficit (and give up less than 4 walks or 8 hits in that span.).

this is why last weekend's sweep in Knoxville was so painful.

the Ags pitching staff cannot perform over 3 games and 27 innings to get a sweep of their own.

which makes getting out of a 2-6 conference hole very difficult

I'm excited to see what Kaufer and Laviolette can develop into in a year or two.
As well as Sdao, Lamkin and Wells.

Quite frankly if the upper class pitchers, particularly those we got through the portal pitched as well as advertised Sdao and Lamkin would not be forced into tough roles this early.
