Mizzou's softball stadium is considerably nicer/newer than their baseball stadium. It seems more full than I've ever seen Taylor Stadium for that matter...

I had a great aunt who played "professional" baseball in the 1940s in New Orleans. I have no idea what (if anything) she was paid. One of those things I wish I'd asked more about as a child.

EDIT - Point being I'd much rather watch women play baseball than softball.
