Back to Greg Porter and his dinner plate sized hands.

I'm watching a game in round Rock like 15 years ago and the opposing first baseman looks kinda familiar. Then I see his hands. I told the other Ags I was with that I think it's Porter and they laughed at me.

I finally just got up and walked closer to the field and yelled GIG EM, GREG! He looks over, smiles, and throws up a gig em.

My memory is stuck on the extra innings game Tstar won . Pretty much ruined his arm, but win is the big 12. Childress was good at damaging arms

I was busy with things tonight so didn't follow the thread closely. Have we talked about how good starting pitching was for a 2nd mid week game

The coolest football photo I ever saw was the Greg Porter touchdown catch from Reggie just before half against OU in 2002. It was a side view across the back of the end zone showing Greg's hands and helmet with a very tight zoom. You could see scratches in the football where his fingernails had clawed that ball in. You could also see some of the FTAB in the reflection of the high-gloss helmet as they were line up at the back of the end zone for their halftime performance. All of that, plus the importance of that play in a very important game, just makes for one amazing photo.

Sadly, I didn't copy it and can't find it now but don't tell me "pics or it didn't happen". It happened!!!

I remember that photo. Surely someone here has the skills to "produce it"...?

There's one capturing his outstretched hands n arms gathering it in. It was a truly great throw n catch! Perhaps even the zenith of Reggie's career...

It was probably less than a half-second before that and from the other side. When I could see the scratches on the ball from his fingernails I just couldn't believe it.

I appreciate everyone looking for it. I would love to have it, or a link if it is copyrighted.
Thanks.
