I get it for northern schools, poor schools (non-P5), and schools in very rainy locations.

tu should be embarrassed of their abomination though. Should be abolished for big money southern schools.

Don't disagree. I dislike artificial turf but at a bare minimum the NCAA should require dirt where there should be dirt.

Yeah that black rubbery/plastic crap is even worse.

I noticed in one of the tu football games last year how God awful their turf looked. It's even crappy turf. Just stupid. I don't care if it saves money, it's dumb. And as if they don't have enough money there.
