My greatest heckling moment was the U of H regional. The opposing catcher took one to the nuts. The ump was just standing there and I yelled to sweep the plate from the second row.

Ump looked up then at the plate briefly, pulled out his brush and swept it.

The old Disch turf was an advantage for sippie since few schools used it. Now it is a matter that it is easier to maintain.

We're in Texas. Our weather completely supports having grass fields. It's bad enough in football, but ridiculous in baseball. Worse for the players, too.
