How long is Minnich out?
Absolutely the story of the game.Wabs said:

But just last year Ole Miss played .500 SEC ball and won it all. Not the norm or a regular thing but with the portal and rule changes it's not crazy that it becomes more normal. We want to be hot in May and June. Best route is to be hot now but it's not the only route by any means.AgE2theBONE said:
With LSU, Tennessee and Ole Miss as our first three series, we better get some stuff figured out quickly.
Agreed, and after the way we improved last season I think Schloss deserves plenty of slack (not to mention his success with TCU)
I'm a fan, so I'm in a hurry to see us kick ass.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a full believer in Schloss, I jus think this year is going to be more of a struggle than most thought. We returned a lot but we also have very young guys playing meaningful spots

I agree but we did the same last year and made it to Omaha with the same approach.gibbons3761 said:
We are not aggressive early in counts. Several at bats have been belt high fastballs we watched.

Yes. Carbon copy of last year.GarryowenAg said:
I know we didn't do well to start last year, but I don't recall our bats being this cold to start the year. Am I mis-recalling?
yes, and that's one of the problems with comparisons to last year's turnaround.HoustonAg2106 said:W said:
the freshmen have been overmatched by higher level pitching
No doubt and I feel like Schloss is playing the long game by getting them experience this year
