I get it. And yeah being down early ain't good. But just last year Ole Miss played .500 SEC ball and won it all. Agreed, and after the way we improved last season I think Schloss deserves plenty of slack (not to mention his success with TCU)

I'm a fan, so I'm in a hurry to see us kick ass.


Don't get me wrong, I'm still a full believer in Schloss, I jus think this year is going to be more of a struggle than most thought. We returned a lot but we also have very young guys playing meaningful spots
I thought so too. I was very surprised we were ranked so high to start the season.

That's just a knee-jerk thing that happens in every sport.

They weren't this bad, but we couldn't string anything together and had a lot of LOB if I recall correctly.

We have had years where our bats are this bad to start, but get hot as move into conference play

yes, and that's one of the problems with comparisons to last year's turnaround.

the Ags weren't starting freshmen last year
