Friday is pretty much locked up, who do you think starts the other two days? Starting pitching was a weakness last year as these guys could get replaced in 2 or 3 innings alot of the time.

You don't not make a guy a starter because he's a great closer.

Two newcomers expected to be in the rotation mix are freshman lefthanded pitcher Justin Lamkin and Purdue transfer lefthanded pitcher Troy Wansing. Wansing is a 6-foot-4, 220-pounder, who looks the part physically and was up to 94-95 mph with his fastball during fall workouts. He works with an 83-85 mph slider and an 82-83 mph changeup. He's ultra-competitive and threw a lot of strikes for the Aggies this fall.
I think it'll be these 4 in the Fri-Sat-Sun-Tue sport to start the year. It always sorts itself out tho.Mr.Ackar07 said:

If Cortez will allow himself to pitch backwards, he can get through lineups 3 times. His control is amazing, his fastball is plus plus, and his changeup is devastating. However, his fastball doesn't change planes, and he needs to use it less in early counts. He is a scout's dream, and is an NPOY talent if he pans out.
