I searched the roster all the way back to 1999 and can't find one player who wore #7 for us on the diamond.

I am pretty sure that number is "retired" being that it was Coach Johnson's number while he was the coach here. I'm not 100% sure but that could be it.

Yeah. I grew up with cliff pennington and he had to change numbers because Johnson was wearing it. Kind of silly, imo
