As I see it, they were forced into the AL so that a proposed sale of the franchise would be approved by the Commissioner. At least, that's my recollection. That is correct. Stros would not have voluntarily make that move to play a bunch of team out west. NL central was awesome. But had to do it in order to buy the team.
Not the moon, but I had a dream last night that I was in B/CS for opening day. In my dreams, it never matters that I don't have tickets. Someone always fits me in somewhere.
This wasn't an Olsen Field dream though. I was driving a gokart around the inside of Post Oak Mall as there were almost no other shoppers there. One of those electric ones. Was a lot of fun.

Pitched a masterful game at the Disch. Was all over the black at the knees for the entire game. Maybe I'll try to find a box score sometime.
