I have no memory of this player, and I went to every home game during most seasons in the mid/late 90s. He's even from my hometown of Beaumont, and I don't remember him...

I don't remember him either. Started his collegiate career at a JC and finished at Dallas Baptist so I'm guessing he did not get a lot of playing time which I assume at most was two years in Aggieland and probably only one. The late '90s Aggie squads were pretty stout, not the easiest lineups in which to get playing time.

He was at A&M in the fall of (I think) 1994 but didn't make the team and went the JC route before winding up at Dallas Baptist. He was notorious for goof ups like then one mentioned in the card of reporting to his new minor league team in Portland Oregon but winding up deplaning in Portland Maine. He was also called upon to pinch hit in a major league game, went to the locker room to change his cleats, got lost, and the team had to find someone else to pinch hit

And Hawaii was one of the schools that we hosted at our 1993 regional. They brought something like 500 fans. It was impressive.

They were very nice people. Fascinated by the trains as I remember. I'm guessing there aren't a lot of freight trains in Hawaii.
