the only time I ever root for notre dam(n) in anything is when they play the sips - so I guess I'll be quietly cheering for them this evening

I have 25 or so Aggies in my family, including myself, my brothers, my sisters-in-law, my mom, and a niece and nephew who are at A&M now.

My oldest daughter shocked everyone by choosing ND because she has a strong interest in Catholic theology. Now that I've spent time there, I see the similarities between A&M and ND. They both are mostly strongly conservative, have many traditions, take their honor codes seriously, honor the military and other public service, are passionate about their sports teams, and are generally polite to opponents' fans.

ND has some things A&M used to have: single-sex dorms and no Greek life.

Yes, it has been hard to get used to. But I now yell for them, too. We share much more in common with ND than tu.

It's the CWS, there's no such thing as ducking a team. You just wind up with another team you don't want to face.

My mom raised me better than to root for Bevo (her father was TAMC '25).

I cannot root for Bevo.

Even when we were in the same conference and needed them to knock someone off for us, I couldn't watch. I'd look for the score in the paper the next day and feel like I had something to gain regardless of the outcome.
