They like to come out whenever the Ags are losing.

This program man. No omaha success at all
OU doesn't even care about baseball and just knocked us.
Wrong. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State love their baseball. Arguably more than football centric A&M.

If these are the Flint Hills, I would consider that NE Kansas.
EDIT - Can you not place "[img] [/img]" tags?
I realize that you're baseball board royalty, but that's an extremely weak take. The team **** the bed today. Nothing wrong with calling it how it is. I'll be rooting for them come Sunday with everyone else. There's absolutely nothing wrong with saying the team exceeded expectations this year, but then laid an egg today. At a minimum, this team & coach is very likeable.... and that makes following them that much more fun.jkag89 said:What an effing cry baby.Texas A&M said:

Pretty much another Aggie team wilting on the biggest stage. Here's hoping they turn it around for the next game.
I'm sure my memory is failing me, but other than Manziel's '12 team, I can't remember one of our teams (big three sports) that flourished under the brightest of lights in the last 30 years.

OK I'm going to stand up for Kansas. Sure it's predominately flat and windy BUT it's a great place to raise a family and it's certainly not a woke culture.
They generally like Aggies over t sips and are friendly folks. They play great basketball and dang it it's my home now. Plus it's driving distance to Omaha and I'm coming up Sunday

Well, I added Linus to my Peanuts/STL bobble head collection on Tuesday. Maybe I'll put them in front of the set for our next game and see if they're lucky?!?
I said that exact same earlier, that people have a right to be frustrated about today, disappointed, et al. Of course it's OK to be frustrated. But some of the comments have gone way past that.rgag12 said:annie88 said:

"Man, we suck."
Odd stand to take.
Come on guys just focus on Sunday.
I think people have the right to be frustrated if they want to. As a program we've won 1 game in 40 years at the CWS. That's pretty damn sad for a college program that holds itself as one of the best in the state/nation.
It's also fine to be cheerful for Sunday, but to poo-poo people for airing out their frustrations is an odd stand as well

That sounds fun. I still have a stuffed snoopy from when I was about six. Used to read those comic books and books all the time.dabo man said:Quote:

The Cards have Peanuts Night once a year, and they give the same bobblehead to everyone. I'd love a Snoopy, but it's out of my hands. I've been thinking about which one I'll get next season, and I'm going with Schroeder. I'd love Snoopy or Charlie Brown though,

This is the assumption that I can't stand on Texags. I would disagree and say that many of us that are frustrated have followed this team from Day 1. For some reason, because we are frustrated and expected more out of this team today, we are just people who all of a sudden started following Aggie baseball.
I'm pissed that we didn't win this game today. Despite our obvious deficiencies like quality starting pitching and infield defense, I expected this team to win. This mentality that we should just be happy to be in Omaha because this team is made up of a group of "Island of Misfit Toys" and that we have glaring deficiencies is why we haven't won in Omaha since we beat Kansas in 1993.
Having said all of that, I have complete faith in Schloss and his staff to reverse the curse. He's not happy just to be there and has said as much in interviews. He wants to win and win big.

That's even different than the people who are calling out specific players saying they suck, need to move on, go away, and don't belong. That's the big one that crosses the line for me. These are young men who are playing a game for our entertainment.

the more that NIL sponsorships become a thing, the less sympathy I will have for players..and I think that's a big shame. ..I think that is a discussion for a thread all on its own.
