If I'm thinking through this correctly, Louisiana should be the home team against TCU. Both have been home and away with TCU's home coming against Louisiana.

That means that if Louisiana wins, A&M will be the home team, and if TCU wins, TCU would be the home team.

Especially with our pitching situation still being pretty good and Louisiana still having to pitch a game tomorrow, Louisiana would definitely be ideal, but our offense should be able to take down down both of their pitching staffs.

I agree. I made my statement mostly based on the fact that I don't want we've seen ULL once already and have a good idea about them, and I don't want Schloss to have to coach against the kids he recruited to TCU. No one wants to listen to the press conference where he critiques his old team's playing abilities.

I went to the game, and I am glad we were able to overcome a roller coaster ride to beat Louisiana 9-6. After leading 4-0 at the top of the 1st inning, we trailed 6-4 at the bottom of the 5th inning. We were on a scoring drought until scoring 2 runs in the 7th inning, 2 more in the 8th inning, and 1 more in the 9th inning. We are one win away from hosting the Super Regionals.

I think TCU is probably better built for playing three more games than ULL is.

But my God I do not want to be fielding bunts and trying to throw out base stealers all day. It only takes one or two gaffes to discombobulate a pitcher and then the wheels can fly off.

Deggs will blow his own foot off as often he'll kick you in the butt with it, but I honestly don't know which I'd rather face.

I suppose it doesn't matter. It's not something any of us can control and if we can't eliminate either ULL or TCU then we don't belong in Omaha anyway.

We're gonna win this thing, so bring on whoever.

The difference is that I would be FAR more worried about TCUs staff in games 4 and 5 than I would be of ULLs

Don't get me wrong, the base running would be hell to deal with. But over two games, I am certain we could put 12+ up in at least 1 game against ULLs staff. Not certain if I can say that of TCUs.
