What I love is how quickly this inning went. After an inning where the Ag batters grinded every at bat (lots of full counts and worked through like 3 pitchers) to take the lead, they went down quickly in order (the second batter fought a little bit) and the Ags are right back out to grind at the opposing pitchers.

Somebody compile the stat on whether the shift works more often than it costs us a hit.
I'm assuming it has to work in our favor or we wouldn't do it.

interesting alignment from Ags on last out of 6th.. if we're playing a full-on pull shift for the guy at the plate, you know cortez (97+ mph) is going to pepper him with changeups and we're expecting batter/allowing batter to pull it into the shift.
