I've been to their field and it's about on par with UH, which has hosted regionals.

One has to wonder if the NCAA will place two regionals so close to each other assuming t.u. gets a bid.

We hosted the same year as Rice so I would think that the ncaa would allow both. But it is the ncaa and they do dumb things sometimes.

It is about 90 miles between Rice and A&M with both universities having excellent facilities. There is only about 30 miles between Austin and San Marcos with TxSt. having a ballpark that probably meets NCAA requirements but nothing special.

Bobcat Stadium capacity is 2400. Doesn't look like much room for expansion unless you put some temporary bleachers in the outfield.
