I believe Raley pitched for Houston in the 6th inning. Two Texas Aggies pitching in the same inning.

The Aggies and SEC are well represented in this series:

Brooks Raley - Texas A&M
AJ Minter - Texas A&M
Drew Smyly - Arkansas
Ryne Stanek - Arkansas
Alex Bregman - LSU
Kendall Graveman - Mississippi State
Dansby Swanson - Vanderbilt
Kyle Wright - Vanderbilt

Raley heralds from the Big XII days, so 7 SEC players on two 26-man rosters (13.5%).

Would be 15.4% if you include Raley.

Glad for AJ. Would have been happier if Brooks got a ring instead this season.

The silver lining was that an Ag would get a ring either way.

After coming on in relief of the injured Charlie Morton in Game 1 of the World Series, AJ earned the "Win" and became just the second Aggie to be credited with a win in the World Series. Michael Wacha earned the first win in Game 2 of the 2013 World Series against the Red Sox.
