While i love SEC baseball the structure of our tourney is horrendous

I know many of you dont like pool play but i think the ACC has it correct

12 teams all get at least two games...if tie in pool the highest seed advances which gives credibility to the regular season

maximum 4 games per team to win it doesnt kill a pitching staff before regionals

in the SEC

8 teams of the 12 come into play in a win or go home first round
after that we play double elimination until the semis which are then single elimination so only really double elimination for one game so to speak the quarterfinals
a team may have to play 6 games possibly to win it all
Bama to win will have to play 6 games if they win the SEC


it just seems that their is a better way to do it

It's amazing that not one big 12 tournament games today are on any ESPN station. They're all on ESPN+. I get at the softball is in pretty heavy play now but wow. They even had lacrosse on.

I feel like Vandy peaked too early this year. They're still very good and I even think they are likely for Omaha, but they dont seem quite as primed for a national championship like they did earlier in the year.

I wonder if they finally got to the Whistler.

I actually don't hear him. Or does he only do his thing when the other team bats?

Yep. I did notice that one of tu games from the other day was on the Longhorn network. But it does show you the interest that even ESPN is showing them and B12 now.

A 1,2 of Rocker and Leiter will get you a long way though. I'm not betting against them just yet.

Won't count them out until they're out but I agree with the assessment. Looks as Arkansas is the team to beat. Van Horn might finally get that National Title that slipped away with the dropped foul pop up in 2018.

Tech failed me again. Not interested in watching the purple matchup.

K-State gave TCU a better game in their opening tournament matchup and took two of three from them last weekend. Still I'd be surprised if TCU wasn't in the BDF Championship game on Sunday.

For those of us that cut the cord and don't have espn or sec network anymore anybody know how we can watch or listen to the games? Even if there's an online radio stream, I love working out in the yard listening to Aggie games on radio.

I use that for the Aggie games but will they have these SEC Tournament games?

No. Sometimes, I've found the tournament games on Sirrius satellite radio, but I haven't checked this year.

I usually go to the TuneIn app or site and do a search for one of the teams that's playing. They usually will have a channel for that team and you can listen.

If that fails, go to the team's website, find the game on the schedule, and there should be a link or info for how to listen.

My bad, not the tournament it's the Michigan-Nebraska series on the Big Ten Network. The Iowa-Michigan St. and Northwestern-OSU series are also being televised.

I didn't pay attention to it not being a tournament and as the other conference tournaments are going on I assumed it was the Big Ten tournament.

But the point remains that these other conferences have nationally televised baseball and the Little 12 isn't.
