Lacy is your Saturday starter from Day 1 . His stuff at the end of the year was almost as good as Dox's and that is pretty damn good. The Sunday starter could be Jaws , Saenz or one of the new freshman ( Childress and Birdsell are both pretty polished products coming in ). We will have plenty of starters to go around . Will need to find a closer ..... but that is something Rob has been able to do over the years .

I think we need to host a regional next year or RC may be out.
AD did not tolerate mediocrity in women's volleyball or golf.
CWS last year likely saved RC for another two years.
Are we the 4th best program in Texas right now.?
TCU and tceh programs are ahead of us looking at the last 5 yrs.
t.u. is back. Rice will have a new coach. SHS pretty good.
Cougar high not bad.
Other point of view...if MSU wins CWS, we won 2 of 3 from them this year!
Guess they got batter and we did not . Guess they proved you don't have to host a regional.
My conclusion is college baseball is hardest sport to predict, too much depends on starting pitching
any given series, bloops are hits and line drives are often outs. Lot of luck and good bounces involved.
Then there is the variance re the home plate umpires.
What say you??
