Only relief arm we burned was Kilkenny. The others could all throw tomorrow. Sure hope they're out of arms.

Yea I'm not sure what WC is looking at. They burned their ace and only legit bullpen guy. We have a monster advantage - especially if Dox pitches like he did in the top of the inning.


Hey forgive me, I just assumed they were all rubber arms over there and Gus reincarnated would pitch them regardless.

Especially when your options are your 3B who played a bit of ss last year, but Homan won out for the start, or someone who has no experience at it at a college level. And even with Janca, you have to replace 3b

Thanks Sean, was in a place were I had no sound and couldn't follow as closely as normal, and didnt have a good idea of who they threw. 2 yr old's to the emergency room are distracting, who knew? And he is fine...

No way you can bench homan.

As has been pointed out even as bad as he has been lately you can't move your starting 2nd or 3rd baseman to the toughest position on the field in the middle of a super regional.

Maybe so but since he was not pulled from this game I suspect he will start. Any move to take him out of the order will weaken the defense elsewhere. Moving either Janca or Shew to short means putting Gutierrez in positions he has had very few reps. We already have one infielder with limited experience playing due to injury, I rather take my chances with the senior that for the most part has been solid at the position.

That was a game we could've easily lost in extra innings I am so proud of this team's fight. Davidson had all the momentum after the 9th inning, but we never gave up and found a way to win.

What other people are makimg unacceptable level mistakes though? I mean really... if a Davidson team with 3 scholarships can find people to make plays, so should we.

I know that I'd expect to be pulled for crap like that even if I was Derek Jeter bc clearly there is a problem to be addressed, especially at this level, and corrected before becoming the norm
