The 3rd baseman just kept moving up and Homan waited to late to adjust. I think he thought he would be able to stay in front of the fielder. Tough.

It really cannot be stressed enough how low homans baseball IQ is. He plays hard but he really screws up a lot of simple things. I truly believe that if he had been benched in April and shew moved to short with guru at second we win 5 more games this year. Sorry to bash him but it's true.

Homan is such a liability in every phase. Just has no business playing SS in the SEC. I appreciate the kid playing his heart out but he just doesn't belong out there.

Our biggest advantage over them was our arms. We more or less normalized our BP to theirs. Now we only have a starter advantage.

So no. A short, nice 6-3 win after 9 would have been working to our advantage.

Now the entire weekend hinges on the offense.
