Anyone know if it will be bleachers?

Seriously, why not put bleachers down the LF line? What rationale is there for not doing that?

The height of the fence leads me to believe that there will have to be bleachers.

You can stand along that fence and watch the game. It's about 5 feet tall. Would actually be a pretty good view from there, but you'll have to be very watchful for foul balls. My son and a few other boys were playing catch down there during the alumni game and nearly got flattened by a line drive.

I called the ticket office and confirmed that area will be open, but not sure if they will have bleachers or not.

I can;t see your link, but the AD said no portable bleachers in the outfield because its too steep. The area we were talking about is flat down the LF line.

That area is covered with field turf. Temp bleachers would tear that up. They won't be doing that.

So glad i have you guys ,txags, to help me figure out this GA situation before Sunday so i can determine whether to bring PAX (my 17month old) to his first aggie baseball game

Also, for those going, let us know how the concessions are. As we know, ours aren't great. Curious to see what they have and if it's considerably better or the same.

I guess I'll have to take your word. If it can handle a few hundred people walking on it and a concession stand, I don't why a few alum bleachers would do much harm.

I was just recounting the greatness of #TCU15 for my office, when a TCU fan said "Yeah, well I bet they don't even know to bring chairs when you sit out there."

I came here just to make sure everyone brings a maroon chair. Maybe a recliner if you have one.

They are much better. We have real nacho cheese and for regular nachos you can add lettuce and tomatoes.
We also have chicken e sweet tea.
Tons of outside vendors.

Based on how every single person has described GA and how the pics show it, it will be the worst seating experience at a college park I've been to. I'm not trying to hate TCU, it is what it is. Lupton is not properly equipped 5.5-7k. I'm sure it's a great park when there is only 4500. I'm sure the concessions are nice. I'm sure the fans are rowdy.

Agreed. They should have only sold 5500 seats or so based on everything I've read and heard talking to my tcu buddies about the seating situation. I'm almost dreading attending this game with my father in law because I know he will be hating the berm.

Ags, try your best not to be dicks and lay out a blanket to cover enough dirt for another 2 families. We'll make it work somehow, and I ain't missing this with my boys regardless.
