The ocean setting makes this ball park at Pepperdine very unique.

I'm there to watch games. Love reckling but it doesn't have the sight lines of the new structure we now have.

I'd say reckling without a doubt in terms of aesthetics without sight lines.

Stadium at pepperdine has great views but stadium itself is nothing special...but still overall a great park.
I like Reckling also.
New Alex Box is very nice.
Olsen now ranks right up there at top.

Though not a pure college park, the new TD Ameritrade in Omaha was beautiful. A few nice gallery pics at

Especially nice with the Ags on the field.

The most beautiful stadium I have been to is Rosenblatt, for obvious reasons. The tailgating, game atmosphere, and histroy was a different kind of beauty that will probably never be replicated. The part that also made it really unique is that there are college fans from all across the nation. That doesn't happen in many other sporting events. Typically, you have fans from one of two teams. If you attended a game there, then you know what I am talking about. If you never did, then you missed out on a really, really special place.

Question about the TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. Did the NCAA have a say in that Park? Obviously TD Ameritrade ponied up big bucks for naming rights. I can't think of any other minor league park that seats anywhere close to 24,000.

Wow! Those are some nice looking college baseball parks! Thanks for posting them. You have been busy traveling.

No one has posted our park so I will add it, since it is very attractive.

Arkansas and LSU both have amazing stadiums, and they have to hold 10k+ easily

Why does Wichita State have such a huge stadium?

haha - new army...

Wichita State was a top 5 program in the 80's. National champs in '89, and 3 time runners up in '82, '91, and '93.

Personally I'm not a fan of Arkansas or USC-e due to the fact they are so large. I enjoy college ballparks not double-A parks. Anyway, my list goes as so...
1. Reckling Park (the view is the best i've ever seen, love the park and the intimate feel of it)
2. Olsen Field (nicest ballpark I have ever been to, the atmosphere is the best IMO too)
3. Alex Box (gorgeous park, great fans, awesome scene)
4. Disch Falk Field (when they get a crowd I really do enjoy the atmosphere, solid tailgating scene pregame, and solid ballpark)
5. Lupton Stadium (nice atmosphere, great ballpark, very intimate)

TD Ameritrade isn't a minor league park. It is basically only for the CWS and Creighton baseball.

The team formerly known as the Omaha Royals now plays in a new stadium out on the west side of Omaha.

From a surroundings standpoint: University of San Diego and Air Force Academy. Neither structure is anything to write home about, though.

There's also a minor league football team that plays there.
