I'm a senior and this will be my last baseball semester at TAMU. I have an only football sports pass, but really want to go to several baseball games this year. Can someone tell me what a student ticket cost and how I can get them?

you can buy general admission tickets for $5 i believe

i think you can get GA at the gate for most games, but don't quote me on that one.

For the more popular games (Texas, Baylor, etc.) you should probably purchase them ahead of time.

well i went to the tu game last season and i had an all sports pass, but I just walked up in there. two girls at the gate just looked at us and asked if we were students and they just let us through. Didn't flash an ID or anything.

They swipe IDs. GA are 5-10 dollars depending on the game.

Depending on how many you want to go to, it may be worth it to buy the pro-rated all sports upgrade.

That's because it was probably 12th man day, or maybe they did it because most students had already left town. I don't remember if they specifically swiped my ID that game or not. Actually, I'm pretty sure TCU was 12th man day, so they probably just let you in to be nice.

Just walk up to the trailer before the game show them your ID and ask to buy a student ticket. Might be around $7 give or take. Although with the new park the trailer probably won't be there...

We'll sell out of a REAL box office on the 3rd base side. And student walkups will be $5 for non-premium games, subject to availability.

Aggie Tickets, is there going to be the old army spirit card again this year? losing that promotion for basketball has hurt attendance somewhat (see basketball board and people complaing about it)

that was on another thread...they are looking into it, but its most likely going to be a negative...weekend warrier will be the best option it looks like.

No Old Army. They did not renew their sponsorship. We'll have the Pick 6 and Weekend Warrior packages.

well those ticket packages are worthless to me. I'd rather see something along the lines of the old army card last year. card that allows you to get into GA for 10 games. price on the old army card was a super value. I'd pay $50 for one. something similar should be done for other sports as well. thanks for the reply.

I am a freshman and have never been to a baseball game as a student, I was wondering how do I get in with a sports pass? And how early should I get there?

With a sportspass, if you have the all sports option they just swipe your id at the gate.

gates open 1.5 hours before 1st pitch.

Sher, considering AggieTickets stated that there are something like 16,000 students with sports passes.. That'd be a negative, in theory.

Yeah, hence my "in theory" part. I was really referring to the excuse AggieTickets is using to justify this. Saying so many students will be interested that they need all of those sections. I wouldn't worry about getting in.
