Not sure if anyone else cares, but I find myself searching baseballreference or minor league sites to check up on Old Ags after I look up some of their old college stats. Thought it might be interesting to keep a running tab of them here. I'm going to start in 2001 (right before when I started going to games as a student) and go from there.

I'll take any help I can get, and we can go back in time a little if anyone wants to do the research. I'll copy, give credit, and keep the running tab up here at the top.

I'll put active players in italics.

Also, this thread was made almost entirely worthless by the page baseballreference.com put together. I don't think this page existed when I started this a long time ago. Really cool page, it has their minors statistics and if they've made the majors, their name is highlighted as a link to their MLB stats.

I'll probably give it a rest here pretty soon while I doze off....see if anyone has any thoughts/corrections or if I should just let it settle to the bottom.

Great list. I would add that from the 2011 squad, Joaquin Hinojosa signed with the Yankkes as an undrafted free agent.

Watched Greg Porter play for the Grand Prarie Air Hogs last night. 6'5" 260 lb 3rd baseman-wow! Great venue and easy metro plex location , his bio says he was AAA with two teams.

He went a triple shy of the cycle tonight.

Thanks pjfan. Updated.

Speaking of Astros ---

"The Astros have fired manager Brad Mills, the team announced. Hitting coach Mike Barnett and first base coach Bobby Meacham have also been relieved of their duties. The club will announce interim replacements on Sunday."

Is Brad Ausmus hanging around for a reason?

Greene's season was probably just cut short. He suffered a concussion in a collision with the RF on Saturday night. Supposed to be out 7-10 days.

I was at Wacha's AA debut tonight with the Springfield Cardinals... 3IP, 0H, 0R, 1BB, 6K... ankles covered by b**** pants over shoes, hair covered by hat, not eating subway, blah blah blah... if he wasn't in the Cardinals system I'd be more excited.

edit: those are b-a-g-g-y pants... not b-itch pants. whatever those are.

Naquin update:

Outfielder Tyler Naquin, the Indians' No. 1 pick in the June draft, is expected to be back in Class A Mahoning Valley's starting lineup Tuesday after being sidelined with back spasms. Naquin has played only 33 of a possible 58 games for the Scrappers, but is hitting .285 (37-for-130) with 21 runs, 11 doubles, two triples, no homers and 13 RBI.

Updated my list. I think some of these guys will pick up on teams later on, but I listed people as active if I could find them on a roster. As usual, if you know where someone is and I haven't found it, any help is appreciated.
