small note...one winner in the Olsen remodeling plan is the Bombers or whoever owns their stadium. The Ags might need somewhere to play for a period of time during the renovations.

I have nothing against the Bombers, Have been to games and I support what they are doing..giving kids a chance to play more baseball..just like select teams, which I am a big big suporter of.
If they think this will sell more tickets..fine, I hope it works out well for them. I just dont think a desperate PR stunt like this will draw people to the park. That's it! I just think there are much better ways to get people out to the park.

Clearly, you are a newcomer to the baseball world. Compared to what many minor league/college summer league type teams do, this is nothing. This kind of stuff has been going on for near a century. Hell, back in the day, they used to do this stuff in the major leagues. Eddie Gaedel anyone?

That's a list of some from just 2007! This is a great stunt, IMO, and furthermore, there's probably NOT any better way for them to get some unpaid intern to spend 20 minutes writing a promotion and whatever 20$ they had to pay KBTX to run this story that will get more people out to the park.
