Apparently Derek Mason took a $400k pay cut to go to OKST. While I love a good ol dumpster fire, there's always a little voice in my head warning me that TAMU could end up in a similar situation in the future (crazy boosters, hell bent on winning) What do y'all think?

Harsin is what happens when you fire a very good-but-not-#1 coach and don't have all your ducks aligned internally before the hiring process. It can absolutely happen to anyone including us, and probably will have to happen to a few more SEC West teams in the near future given the top-to-bottom quality right now. Great case study on why not to fire a head coach unless you have a home run hire already set up with everybody on board.
