Says someone who hasn't been "graced" by the presence of Florida fans.
There's something uniquely crappy about every fanbase. For instance, I like Auburn folks, but they trash their campus like nobody's business on game day.
So what's so wrong with LSU fans? Does our rate of alcohol consumption make you want to flee to your safe space? Or is it the delectable dishes we cook up and offer to anyone that passes? Educate me on your disdain for us.

not even sure this guy is an Aggie. At any rate he has a total of 53 posts, so is pretty much irrelevant in the total scheme of things. Looks like a drive by.
Agree, LSU fans, following wins or losses demonstrate worst sportsmanship of any fan base I witnessed --- and, no, I'm not a drive-by...
Most LSU fans have never seen the inside of a classroom... Most lsu grads haven't either.
On the contrary, most of us spend the better part of a decade inside a classroom trying to get a BS...

Complaining about SEC officiating? Saw Aggies doing plenty of that this weekend.
Complaining about SEC scheduling? Everyone but Alabama does that.
I haven't seen anyone get truly harassed at an LSU game at a *long* time. However, the F* bombs fly (in the stands) at LSU fans at College Station; when an older couple leaves the game early because of the profane abuse directed at them, it's not a good picture.

How ironic! Complaints from LSU fans about receiving degrading comments and disrespect in College Station --- that's really incredible.
Try putting yourself in A&M gear sometime and walk into Tiger Stadium prior to or following a game --- you'll gain some new insight about why other fan bases in the SEC universally view LSU fans as the absolute worst in the conference. Bama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Florida and A&M fans all agree, you can always anticipate hostility, disrespect and poor sportsmanship from Tiger fans in Baton Rouge (especially in night games).
Remember, you receive respect when you reciprocate it with your conference partners.

No, sorry. If you want to ***** about 22 year olds in their first job out of college when they want to tailgate, then you can differentiate yourselves. All your 22 year olds are 3 years into their marriage and wondering when they're going to get some more action.

Not to mention, my best bud Aggie has had -0- crap since he has come to Baton Rouge. If anything, he has gotten fat and drunk and hated every minute of being shoveled with Gumbo, Chik Fil A, Scrambled eggs, Bacon, Beer, Couchon du lait, etc.
But I guess your being mad about games trumps actual facts. And the fact he's watched Ole Miss fans not be harassed by anyone as early as last week. We're not stupid enough to revel in victory until the whistle blows, as we've seen against Gumps the last two years in Tiger Stadium.

Dude, you've got a serious case of denial going about both the reality and perception of SEC fans about LSU fans --- I get it now, it's your world and the rest of us just must accept it! Go ahead and live in your parallel coona$$ universe but don't ever complain about the treatment of your fans at other SEC school venues.

I wasn't complaining, as long as nobody gets physically harmed or feels actually threatened, it can be expected to come with the territory. After all, that's why we wear team colors proudly when we go to away games, we're trying to get people "excited."

But many LSU fans do have a deadly obsession with Saban, and continue to play the what if game in post after post, and they're never happy no matter what. TigerInTexas- you're a good guy, and if the majority of LSU fans were like you I'd have 0 issues with them. In fact, actual LSU alumni for the most part are alright. But sadly, the truth is the majority of LSU fans never attended the University and are a bunch of backwards, coonass scum-of -the -earth- people, who harass and disrespect opposing fans. They'll try to start fights with you, they yell disrespectful things at you, they'll throw beer bottles at you, they'll key your car, or worse, if they see anything supporting the opposing team on it. They are the anti A&M. These people actually pride themselves on being pieces of **** to opposing fans- the opposite of most A&M fans who (for the most part) pride ourselves as being decent hosts for opposing fans, and want to represent our University well. Just trashy, classless stuff; no dignity, hospitality, or respect for anything or anyone different than themselves. It's such a fearful, small-minded mentality. I'll never forget when LSU fans went onto Kyle Field back in the day and spray painted on field and vandalized it.. not even Texas fans do that. Then they'd all try to go to the chicken after the game instead of going home to try to start more *****. That is who LSU fans are in the minds of many, not just Aggies. They give actual LSU alumni a bad reputation.
Totally agree. Accurately describes my previous experiences in Baton Rouge, absolutely the worst and most backwards venue and fans in the entire SEC (by a wide margin). Completely unlike other venues in the SEC that offer charm, hospitality, tradition and proud (but mostly respectful) opposing fans.
Plus the LSU campus is a real dump, it looks like they entirely quit maintaining it back in the '60's --- truly pathetic and third world.
I'll never return there or spend any money in that god-forsaken place again.

STTDB was embarassing, but was 99.9% in the student section. They haven't played the accompanying song in years, so it hasn't happened recently.
Completely agree with you brotheraggie, which is why all the smart ones leave.
I went for the first time to BR last year and thought in actuality the "classless" part of LSU fans was overrated. They were actually pretty nice, but seem aggressive due to all of them being schmammered.
Now, given that amount of drunk people being together in a concentrated area, could I see an incident or two occurring just due to that alone? You bet.

Been to both games in Baton Rouge and wouldn't miss it. Fantastic fans, friendly as hell, feed you well. Don't know what happened with you guys.

I was born in Baton Rouge and raised in New Orleans. All of my family is still there and I moved to College Station 25 years ago. Been to many games in Tiger Stadium wearing either purple or maroon.
Sadly, it is a different experience when I wear maroon for Aggie games. If I go with my brother and he wears purple it is not as bad.
A couple years ago a client invited me to his tailgate party for the Aggie game. When I went to the restroom, someone cursed my wife and son out wanting to know what the hell they were doing in their tent. That was one of several incidents including the police removing the couple behind us for drunk and disorderly in the first quarter. They will never go back to Tiger stadium unfortunately.

From what I've seen the corndog fans are better than what they used to be, for the most part the drunk obnoxious a***oles are the guys in their 50's who were the same drunk obnoxious a***oles that were on campus 20-30 years ago........I wish I could go back and dig up the old Battalion from after the game in 92 where their fans did so much vandalism to any vehicle with an A&M sticker/plate and were such jackasses in general that their university president actually wrote a letter to the editor apologizing for their crappy behavior.
That said, Ole Miss fans and their generally unwelcoming behavior, and their "F U Johnny, F U Johnny" chant when JFF was laying on the field hurt a few years ago........lost all respect right there. Going to Gainesville this fall. Will see for myself what they're made of.

Had an LSU fan try to trip my walking down the stairs at their stadium. Never happened any other place. And I've never seen that level of ETOH consumption.
