It looks like the Michigan job will be open. Assuming Harbaugh stays in San Fran, what are the chances Bielema might be considered? He was successful in that conference before, and maybe he's seen enough of the SEC to realize how tough it will be to win a conference title.

Intriguing idea, but I think he'd need at least one signature upset this year to be considered. Lucky for him, he'll have lots of chances.

This season will need to be a full-fledged turnaround before those smug fartsniffers in Michigan would consider him. And that's not going to happen. Arky is better, but not better enough.
