Has anyone kept a list of all A&M wins and losses against fellow SEC members since we started SEC competition last fall?

I wonder who has A&M's number and whose number we have?

LSU is 5-1 against A&M in the 3 major sports since the Aggies have joined the SEC.

Umm... A&M = SEC, right?

Of course you only count the big 3 corndog because Texas A&M destroys LSU every year in the Director's cup....and we will continue to do so!

I count the big 3 because those are easily the most important sports. Congrats on your women's soccer team victories and swimming team.

I don't try to one up. I just bring logic and facts to the discussion. Facts like LSU's 5-1 record against A&M in the 3 major sports since A&M joined the SEC.

Stop this. Football is the main event, hoops and baseball are the undercards. Other sports are the dudes outside the arena:

-playing a saxaphone for change
-selling programs
-doing balloon tricks for kids

Any sport with less than 5 people on the field is trash. Any sport without a ball is trash.

We all know that LSU has a good athletics program...it just isn't as good as ours. That is just a fact. Nice jab about our women's sports but if I remember correctly we kicked your men's butts in track last year as well.


Texas A&M has better academics than LSU but you know that. We also have a much larger endowment but you know that as well. We are also a larger school than LSU but you know that too. We also get more research dollars than LSU but you already know that as well. We have a better football coach and starting in 2014 we will have a larger football stadium and will never look back as far as facilities go.

It is the opinion of many here that A&M's rise is going to hurt LSU the most of all SEC schools. Once Lies Miles gets canned for paying players at Okie State then what are you going to do?

Most of us agree that LSU is a good school but don't come over to Texags and act like LSU is all that because it's not! Texas A&M is not inferior to LSU.

That is only if you count every single athletic program as equal. If you guys want to do it to make yourselves feel better, then go ahead. Like the vast majority of college sports fans, I couldn't care less about sports like gymnastics, women's soccer, volleyball, swimming, tennis, etc...

Like most college sports fans, I care about:
- Football - LSU defeated A&M and finished ahead of them in the SEC West.
- Basketball - LSU defeated A&M twice and finished ahead in the SEC standings.
- Baseball - LSU defeated A&M 2 out of 3 and went to the CWS.

Your coach is in his second football season at A&M and is doing very well, but to say he is better than a coach who has:
- 1 BCS Championship in 2 appearances
- 2 SEC Championships in 3 appearances
- 5 top 10 finishes in 8 seasons at LSU

is jumping the gun a little bit. Sumlin is a good coach, but slow down before you say he is better than one of the top coaches in the country.

A&M has had one good season and a trip to the Cotton bowl and are off to a nice start. Manziel will go pro after this year, and Sumlin will take an NFL job. Your "rise" is going to be short lived.

Even if it does continue, LSU will be fine. We will continue to pluck a few top Texas recruits each year and get whoever we want minus 1 or 2 guys from LA each year.

Did you see how quick the Oklahoma St story died because it was so poorly researched? Many more players have refuted the accusations than have come out and made them. That story was a hack job and mostly nonsense.

A&M is inferior to LSU in football, basketball and baseball.

In 2009, ESPN ranked the college football programs on the previous 73 seasons based on prestige. This was before LSU had one of the greatest regular seasons ever and lost in the bcs championship. LSU was ranked 13. A&M was ranked 20. It would be even more of a disparity if it was done today.

In basketball, we have had some final fours and players like Shaq, Chris Jackson, Bob Petit and the greatest college player ever in Pete Maravich.

In baseball, we have numerous national championships and a bunch of CWS appearances.

Congrats on your cross country and diving programs. Keep hanging those banners.

It might help you to understand that for years we had the Lonestar Showdown with the Sips based on the outcome of 19 common varsity sports. My very original post was to see if anyone had stats as to how we ranked against our SEC brethern in the same fashion. We are on our way down based on what? Please give some examples. We are a top 10 team with great coaching and will be bringing in the #1 recruiting class.

Our basketball program is starting to bring in top recruits under Johnny Jones. Our baseball program went to the CWS last year.

Yes, we are in Louisiana which produces more NFL players per capita than any other state. Guess what, most of them grow up LSU fans and want to play for LSU.

Our facilities will be on par with your if not better. Congrats on your larger alumni. I guess that is something to brag about.

LSU isn't poor. Have you looked at a list lately of the highest revenues for athletic departments? The LSU baseball program even turns a profit which is incredibly rare in college athletics.

Louisiana has its faults for sure, but there are many great things about it: food, people, culture, etc...The tourism industry is doing better than ever with New Orleans leading the way for the state of course. People love to visit here.

Many people from all around the country love to come to Louisiana. Maybe you and other Texans don't which is fine with me.

I have been called countless despicable names on here and hardly ever resort to name calling. I have stayed classy even when dealing with the classless Aggie fans on here.

As I stated before we play 19 sports and I was interested in how Texas A&M stacked up in our varsity sports to the other SEC schools. We pretty much know because the Director's Cup score tells us that we own every school in the SEC when considering all varsity sports but Florida! However, if you have different data please give us your facts. I just gave you mine....and you can't prove me wrong!

We need to bump this thread in two years or so when Texas A&M and Sumlin's 4 and 5 start recruits with a little experience are regularly whipping the crap out of Lies Miles' LSU or what other clown is in Baton Rogue coaching your child molesting felons.

If you want a thread to compare the entire SEC in just three sports then start one!!!

Or in 2 or so years when Sumlin is in the NFL, Manziel is gone and A&M returns to mediocrity. LSU will also have 4 and 5 star recruits and is about to pull in the #1 recruiting class in the country. We are going nowhere.

Also, we have zero felons on our team. Hill was convicted of a misdemeanor. What do you know another incorrect comment from Unknown Handle.
