Game Wrap up & Preview
Last week, our Fightin’ Texas Aggies took out all their post-Alabama frustrations on the collegiate footballers from high-falutin’ University Park, the unranked Mustangs of Southern Methodist University.
There were near-apocalyptic seizures in the stands when, after winning the opening coin toss, one of the Aggie Team Captains “miscommunicated” to the Referee that the Ags wanted to defer, and take the ball to open the 2nd Half of play.
Fortunately, the Aggies forced the Smoobies to punt on their first drive. After the traditional touchdown on our opening possession and early lead of 14-0, the Aggies settled in, wiped the floor with the Ponies and had Jonathon Football in a visor by 3 ½ minutes into the 3rd Quarter. Ags win 42-13
On Saturday, our #10-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies look to go 3-0 in the SWC, and travel to Fayette-nam…umm, Fayetteville, Arkansas to take on the un-ranked Razorbacks of the University of Arkansas.
Last week, the 3-1 Little Piggies traveled to Piscataway, NJ and gave up two 4th Quarter Touchdowns to lose 28-24 to the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey was originally chartered as Queen’s College, in 1766. Seriously? How do you give up two 4th quarter touchdowns to a school that was once named Queen’s College? Really?
This is the Aggies first trip to the Ozarks since 1990, where the Aggies beat the Root-Hogs 20-16. The Aggies haven’t had a lot of luck in Fayetteville, where they have a record of 5-12-2.
K-Smooth, Snydzzz and the Boys look to help eradicate the feral-pig infestation and gut the Red Wattles in their own house, before returning to the tradition-laden confines of The Death Star…um, Jerry World…um, Cowboy’s Stadiaa…um, AT&T Stadium.
