This forum is now 3 weeks old. This is the first thread to start it all. Congratulations to the TexAgs staff for SEC Country.
Good luck to you Aggies. TCU has had some good games against you but it has been far too long. Hope we can play again soon. How about in the national title game this January?

Just want to point out that from 2000 to 2011 (12 seasons), TCU has finished in the top 25 AP poll 9 times. Since 2008 (the last 5 years), we had a final ranking in the top 10 three times. In 1938, one year before your national championship, we were consensus national champions (shared #1 with LSU in 1935). No college team in the state of Texas has had a better record in the past 12 years than TCU. We were ranked #2 in 2010 by the AP. We are hardly Purple Baylor.

I wish TCU every success in the Formerly Big 12, and I think you'll probably do pretty well over the longer term, if there is a longer term for the FB12.
One of your biggest problems will be dealing with, on a day-to-day basis, the egomaniacal deathstar in Austin. Every FB12 member institution needs to have a Plan B in place for how its school, and the FB12 in general, will react when the sips bolt the conference for "greener pastures". Remember their ideology regarding the FB12.... "We keep you alive to serve this ship... row well and live".
I think you take the sips on turkey day this year.... I'll be pulling for you. Hope you wipe the gaylors too.
