Easy on the negatives...this is a young team that will continue to improve. Billy will continue to teach these kids the fundamentals. When was the last time you were actually excited about A&M BB? I know I cant wait for conference play to start and see these boys on tv.

Well, I don't know if I would call it embarrassing, but it is a disappointing lose. We will see how it goes against Tech, but I know I am excited for conference play to start.

Embarrassing? Are you aware that Pacific won 27 games last year, and made the second round of the NCAA tournament. What a ridiculous post.

Exactly what I was thinking. To some people, if you aren't from one of the major conferences, then you obviously are inferior.

It's that same attitude that let schools like Gonzaga and (insert yearly Cinderella here) make a run in the Tourney.

I'm still thinking we have a decent shot at the NCAA tourney. That was one game against a decent team on the road. We could have looked a lot worse. Seeing as how the Big XII is not exactly playing up to everyone's expectations this year, I expect us to end up around 4 or 5 in the conference at least. So I'm staying optimistic on this and saying we'll make that famed 64 teams.

I'm just saying...stay optimistic. It's still way early. And I know you want to go AggieFox...not saying you don't. Just trying to point out the finer side of things...that's all.

Disappointing is a LOT different than embarrassing.

How would losing to tech be embarrassing? Don't get me wrong, I certainly feel pretty good at our chances of winning, but I don't think that it would be embarrassing. I guess we've really come a long way as a program when some can consider a loss to a Bob Knight coached team an embarrassment. Do you remember being 0-16 in conference only 2 years ago?
