IF we win 3-5 Big 12 games then Gillispie should hand back his coach of the year awar for last year! This team is too talented for that

Honestly, I can't believe you are comparing the football teams secondary to the b-balls newcomers...

Com'n this is totally different teams...

A&M football has like 4-5 fish or newcomers in there while A&M has 4 returning starters with nine guys that have been in the system(counting walkons) then add the 5 newcomers in Smith/Kavaliauskus/Bennett/Carter/Devezin... I mean your only expecting more than avg. contributions from the JC kids and I do expect a plus from the freshmen this coming season...

I think your just putting a low expectation so that you feel better if something goes wrong, which is fine with me...

I just expect good things to happen, sure A&M may go back to the NIT but I'm not counting out the NCAA and IF we go back to the NIT... I expect to go New York!!!

Guys the most glaring difference between this year and last is the bench.. we got in foul trouble a lot last year cause we didnt have a deep bench. This year will be totally different. Plus the fatigue factor was there too. All in all , we'll mis AW but i still think we'll be stronger overall.

Totally agree. Our bench is so much deeper than last year. I realize that AW is going to be a big loss and I know that we have only seen one game played but... Acie has stepped up. I've said it before and maybe I just looked to much into one game but Acie looked like he was in charge last weekend. He is playing so much better in all aspects. AW is a lose, no doubt, but we are going to be a tougher team this year.

One of the things that might hurt us is no one is going to underestimate us this year. We surprised some schools last year and that isn't going to happen this year. Luckily we are a better team. Whatever happens its going to be fun to watch
