I thought this was our year. I thought we would win at least one big 12 game. I thought we could at least go into the NIT on a good note if we were snubbed on selection Sunday. Now we dont have to worry about being snubbed, we snubbed ourselves.

I am not disappointed in the team, just upset that I let myself get so attached to the idea that we were a strong bubble team. I let myself believe that with the right matchups, we could make a sweet 16 run. I am glad that we are a lock for the NIT, but the only way I could be satisfied with the outcome of this season is if we make a good run in the NIT.

I am speechless now. Words cannot describe my frustration yet understanding of this season. I know everyone is having a tough time taking this, because I am as well, but it was simply our overly high expectations that caused this hard fall we are experiencing. Keep your chin up, next November we will be more excited about the start of a basketball season than possibly any other year, ever.

cheer up now, we've got NIT planning to do. Yeah, we wanted more, the team did too. But we have the NIT and let's go show the world just how much fun Aggies can have.
