Do you realize how absurd it is in 2026 to make definitive statements about rankings in the middle of April?
Exactly rosters aren't even complete yetTamuco99 said:

oh I didn't say that. Sorry. Was talking about top 25 predictions. Carry on!Tamuco99 said:
Perhaps, but the sport is still in a fluid state as it adjusts to the changes so there will be more outliers than usual. Stating that we have no chance of finishing in the top 8 is ridiculous. Looking at this past season alone, 3 of the top 8 teams (Vandy 11th- finished 4th, UGA 14th >>7th, A&M 13th>>6th ) were predicted to finish 11th or worse

Projections and odds at this point are a crapshoot at best imo.

Texas A&M guard Marcus Hill has entered the transfer portal, a source told @TexAgs.
Hill is awaiting a waiver from the NCAA for an additional year of eligibility. If he gets it approved, a return to Texas A&M is possible.

Are these guys being encouraged to leave to make more room?

three 6'6" guards we should be targeting:
Viljami Vartiainen (Weber State)
Cris Carroll (Youngstown State)
Isaac Celiscar (Yale) (confirmed active target)

No longer super pursuing Celiscar. Luke says the staff feels they can get a better player/fit. I thought he'd be a great fit.

Clemence/Phillips/Mgbako (2 out of the 3) will start so not sure how you will get a starting 7 ft to come here. The truth is centers are very highly coveted right now and we just brought in Phillips which I dont think came here to sit.
Clemence first off bench. Mcbako at 3, Phillips at 4, True Center at 5. Haggerty at 2. Get a lead guard and we are done for starters.

I admit I have no idea what I'm saying in any given moment, if that makes you feel better.

I still think we are going to have a much more talented roster than last season full of length with slashers and dudes who can shoot the 3.

He's a good depth piece and replacement for Reuben, but he was barely a contributor at the mid-major level. I hope he plays closer to 10 mins a game than 18. If he's playing 18, I hope it means he's taken a huge step forward in his game. I do like that he has the familiarity with Bucky's system and will know what is expected of him on both ends from day one.
