Dominguez is prob done having big games until we figure out how to get him open.

Our two expected studs Isaac and Mgbako have disappointed mightily.

Bucky should've called a timeout after the first TO. Had two.

Give the team credit for fighting back but that was a mentally weak close to finish regulation and an even weaker OT.

This team isn't going to make the tournament and I think the bigger sec teams are going to feast on us.

Some of these thoughts are stolen from Marc and Bobinator but whatever.

If anything this was the most encouraged I've been all season because we couldn't hit jump shots yet we played with a little bit of DAWG and mucked the game up and clawed back

We have flaws. They aren't really gonna change. This team at its best is probably on the right side of the bubble but we've know that

This team doesn't suck. They aren't great and our young coach still has a lot to learn…but they don't suck. We were 40 seconds away from sweeping our ACC opponents until one player phoned it in and the coach forgot how to use timeouts.

You have to remember this is a hodgepodge lineup that was thrown together at the last minute. There's talent on the roster but also flaws. I like the way they play hard and don't quit. I like the way they hustle. But they don't suck. They're doing the best than can be expected from a patchwork roster and a young, largely inexperienced coach.

Was at the game. Marcus hill is a baller. Aside from the missed free throws that would have put us over the finish line. We did hit some lucky long threes at the end Smu has a good team.

I find it fascinating how consistently ok our defensive numbers are in pretty much every game (only real outliers are MVSU and FSU on each side). Our losses coincide with steep dips in offensive efficiency.

Oh and Rylan needs to stop jumping without something to do with the ball.

In this style, they have to. You play those rotations til they figure it out.

We played terribly for 15 mins in the first half and one minute in the second half and nearly won

like OP said, already seen enough to know that jacari lane should be the primary ball handler in crunch time. Aside from that, theres 2-3 players that are just dead weight. But if going 12 deep is what it takes to keep them fresh, who am i to argue

Great atmosphere tonight (80/20) Ags. Not sure why we played a neutral site.

FTs and TOs. That's what did it. Bucky knows what he has is very schizophrenic team, we are win some by 30 and have some head scratching losses.

Up 4 with 45 seconds, dont use a timeout and then step on your own dick with 4 straight TOs is so Aggie.

Atmosphere was great. Loved the small venue for a neutral game.

So frustrating to lose it like that at the end after coming all the way back. The two turnovers at the end were inexcusable. Should never lose up 4 with the ball and 40 seconds left. Pop turning it over so quickly just can't happen. And the next turnover was just as bad. And not even getting a shot up on the last possession can't happen.

BIGGEST ERROR OF THE GAME ~ putting #3 (Rylan Griffen) to guard #5 (Jaron Pierre) for SMU. Pierre was/is their best player and Griffen was lost all night long and has to be the worst. Why would the coach keep Griffen in the game with all of his mental errors???????????

I have had season tickets for 8 years, and this game was more than horrible.

Going back to the timeout. I guess I can forgive Bucky for thinking two twenty four year olds wouldn't piss down their legs to close a game.

This. You want the ball of the hands of those two and shouldn't need timeouts to tell them not to go monkey humping a football with it.

It was almost an amazing, inspiring win with so many positives.

Then it turned into an excruciating loss with 2 richter-scale collossal mistakes when we had a 4 pt lead, the ball, and a shot clock that would take the game down to 20 seconds.

How can we get careless and sloppy and lazy in the last seconds of the game???

I took want to give kudos to Hill- that guy is a baller. I still love this team and am surprised how entertaining I find them.

We are getting better in the ok st game we got whipped in the first half and got blown out this game we battled back and should've won. Still excited as we are turning into a team and playing in the road and being competitive with different types of teams. We are still very new with each other and learning.

One or more of the bigs not named Agee needs testosterone supplements or we are NIT bound imo.

If we come all the way back never quite take the lead and lose then it would have been a really encouraging game overall. I thought we showed some really encouraging signs in the second half.

But to take a four point lead and then implode like that stings so bad it's hard to focus on the positives.

We're going to be alright though. Keep improving, keep adding things in, we're gonna get there.
