Buzz is a very good coach, cannot understand why they went with him tho.

Buzz is a very good and solid coach. Is he great? No. But A&M has never had that coach. So Buzz is absolutely one of the best hoop coaches this school as seen. We are not Duke here folks...grow up.

Hopefully our AD proves himself finally and gets an upgrade to Buzz.

I though buzz was a solid coach but had a lot of shortcomings that would ever prevent t him from winning anything significant

I can see why Maryland fans would not be happy with this hire

You'll make the dance most of the time but there's a good chance you won't do much once you get there

That's only if his recruiting doesn't improve in Maryland. He consistently outperformed his recruiting rankings here. Is he just a bad recruiter? Does A&M just not put enough into NIL for basketball? I'm not sure. Just a T-shirt fan, but I've been impressed with how good A&M basketball has been under Buzz with a complete lack of recruiting.

If Buzz is not a good coach then we have never really had a good coach, outside of BCG. We certainly have never had a great coach.

Buzz was a good coach for us . Not above criticism or back up the brinks truck to his house good but he built a competitive program that I thought was sustainable if he worked the portal as hard as he did last offseason. I wish he hadn't left but he did so what's next?
