For those of you critical of Buzz, remember there are some of us that lived through the Melvin Watkins days where we watched a team LOSE every conference game. The thought of the NIT was out of reach.

I think a lot of us were very grateful for the consistency of the program and the great year. This situation has left us all feeling very weird and the longer it takes Buzz to agreed it the weirder if feels. For instance, it took no more than one morning for Nate oats to squash the rumors about him leaving... But here we almost 1 week after Buzz name was "leak"still waiting for the current coach to either move on or just confirm he is committed to stay. Anyways, still happy for the good season.

I remember almost beating Oklahoma and that being the highlight of the year.

baseball won one SEC game .....just think of losing every game. And when BCG was hired, a number of the fan base were not very happy. But think about what he did to turn the program around.

man i don't know about that. ai am greatful for a lot of things in life but am I greatful for buzz williams in his 6th year with a team that included 8 seniors to finish 5th in the sec and lose in the 2nd round? while being paid top15 coaching money? i don't know that seems like a stretch. and i am a buzz fan.

We should be better and the product he put on the floor is hard to watch. That's the reason people don't come who wants to come watch 2-1/2 hours of turnovers bricks and awful basketball that is not fan friendly. We win some games but not when it matters.

I'm sorry you had to endure that, but it has no bearing on Buzz's future here. We simply cannot be afraid to try to get better.

Consistency of the program? Lol. Losing in round 1 or 2, and largely being mediocre during the season outside like 1 season. Maybe some of you are just mediocre people. I can only hope you're quite old, and that explains why you accept mediocrity so much and are even happy with it.

Me and like 10 other guys were at the OSU game in 1998 ( I believe.).

There were literally 10 fans in the stands. We were basically courtside. It was hard to watch. We lost 59-64.

Ended the season 12-15. We only won 3 games on the road that year and lost to Oral Roberts, Sothern, and the basketball powerhouses of Nebraska and Colorado. Brutal Season.

I didn't miss a home game under Barone or Watkins. I think that counts as penance of some sort.

Buzz was consistent at winning 20 plus game seasons. Made the tournament consistently. Honestly this was good for A&M. 3 years consistently making the tournament! That's not a given! When has there been ANY good consistency in football or basketball? This coach knows how to win.
