There's no way a team with a 6-12 conference record should even be in the conversation (unless they win the conference tournament). I don't even think the 8-10 teams should be in. IMO, you should be .500 or better in conference to go the tournament.
So you don't think the committee should select the best teams. Weird stance.
So you think SMU at 13-7 in a horrible ACC deserves to be in over Miss St. who plays in the strongest conference. Basketball has ever seen.
And as far as 'the strongest conference basketball has ever seen', you may be right.... but we should wait at least until the start of the 2nd weekend of the tournament before we go there.
So basically you just want them to only have 55 teams in the tourney this year. Cut it down from 68.
