So you think SMU at 13-7 in a horrible ACC deserves to be in over Miss St. who plays in the strongest conference. Basketball has ever seen.
I never said that SMU should be in over Miss St. The make it/not make it line will always be different in every conference. My opinion was just that the bar should be set at a .500 conference record.

And as far as 'the strongest conference basketball has ever seen', you may be right.... but we should wait at least until the start of the 2nd weekend of the tournament before we go there.


So basically you just want them to only have 55 teams in the tourney this year. Cut it down from 68.

We need to get rid of SEC, Big Ten, Big 12 teams to make sure North Carolina sneaks in with an 0-7 record against those leagues or whatever it was.

Agreed. They have the look of a team that is already done for the season and imagine the Vandy game will look similar to their other recent outings. Recruiting really missed on their transfer guards

Texas is terrible. They play like an AAU team that doesn't practice. Even if they sneak into the tournament, the chances of them winning more than one game are 0%. A&M should win by 20 tomorrow without breaking a sweat.

This is a no lose situation. I think we are locked in at 3 seed. Texas beats us and we still get 3 seed while they still don't make it in. We win and they have to remember it for entire year

Buzz may opt to leave after the season, but no way he ends up at sip. Pretty sure he knows that his act would never fly in Austin. Our culture is one that is permissive of coaches who are quirky and/or wear their religion on their sleeve. He's not enough of a slam dunk hire to overlook that

I know I need to get a dog - I think we are the better team, but 5 vs 8 is really tough.

I just think getting 14 teams in is going to be tough. I think the committee will look for any reason to spread the wealth a little more. I think tu will need to really show out this tournament and beat us and Tennessee or st least be really competitive vs Tennessee

Uhhh … Buzz is a guy who is coaching a under talented team to a 3 seed and Rodney Terry is barely getting his team to the tournament with a lottery pick 5* guard who lead the SEC in scoring and a bunch of pretty high-level talent around him.

I'm not saying Buzz is great or anything, but geez look at the roster Terry has and how disorganized they look.
