Bracketology:
45 bracketologists have updated their brackets since the Auburn win, here's where the Aggies stand:

No. 2 seed: 2
No. 3 seed: 34
No. 4 seed: 6
No. 5 seed: 3

Who in the world has us a 2? I'd like to see their brackets

Who in the world has us as a 5? I'd like to see their brackets

People who didn't notice that we just beat Auburn

And people that use the AP ranking as a guide for their seed list.

Even though last year we were seeded higher than most people expected?
Maybe not last year but the next few years after you have to admit have been suspicious

We were seeded lower than we thought the year before last because we had a weak non conference resume

It's been established that if you schedule a hard non conference and get a few good wins you will be rewarded come seeding time

Established? I don't think any coach really knows what the criteria is which is why Buzz said this fact almost every time he talks about the tournament criteria. Also I believe that points to why the committee has an issue with Buzz and/or A&M. It is just my opinion.

Yes, it is established the committee rewards non-conference schedule. Their seeding and which bubble teams get in back this up. After the brackets are announced, the head of the committee does an interview with CBS and they have reiterated non-conference schedule is important.

If we can't agree that "if you schedule good teams and beat good teams you're going to be seeded higher" is established then we can't agree on anything.

If it is established, why did Buzz asked so many times what is the criteria? A man who has had a few teams have deep runs into the tournament didn't know. My suggestion is to limit the committee's power and use AI to pick the teams and their seeds. It is pretty simple.

I think that speech was more about Buzz sticking up for his team than "not understanding" the process. Buzz knows because he has improved our non-conference schedule since then.

Every year there are one or two bubble teams that fall on the wrong side of the bubble, and that year we were one of the teams.

I think we deserved to be in, as did a lot of prognosticators, but when you are a bubble team there are also reasons to not be selected. This is not a conspiracy.

Compare his non-conference schedule that season to the past two. Buzz figured it out and has reaped the rewards.

The playoff teams selected almost perfected matched what the BCS formula would've picked.
