Yeah, I don't know that we had to go THIS far….

I disagree with this and am surprised by it. The standard was being a consensus all American.
And to do it before his career is actually concluded is absurd. I don't want to ruin his moment or sound like I'm hating on him but A&M does some seriously strange things.
Where's Johnny's statue by the way?
Or they wanted to do it while Wade still played here? Cool moment after a big win.pbaitman said:
Makes me think Buzz wanted to see it before he leaves us after this season for Indiana.

I also think it's worth noting that Wade stayed here for four years and won a Buck Weirus award in an era where I'm positive he could have gotten paid a lot more to play somewhere else.
I guess we'll never know!TxAg76 said:
Would they still have done it if we'd lost??
We were never going to lose to that soft ass team. Buzz knew.Zachary Klement said:I guess we'll never know!TxAg76 said:

Acie is the GOAT unless Wade leads us to an elite 8.

You might want to rethink that lot more money thought. His game definitely does not translate to the NBA or NBA money. He might get SOME money in Europe. But, I sure am glad he played here.
