Still don't understand pulling Solo and putting Garcia and Carter in. Garcia looked completely lost. As bad as his first couple of games with us where he looked like he didn't even belong on the court. And Carter literally didn't belong on the court. On either side. Solo was DOMINATING on the defensive end.

We got another good road win for our 3rd consecutive win to improve to 18-5 (7-3 SEC).
My biggest frustration has been sticking with our base defense knowing the other team has streaky good shooters. Today, we shut that MF down the whole time. He got maybe 1-2 clean looks, and was so rushed that he missed them.
And the guy who was hitting the 3's? Didn't do too much after Solo put his ass in the ground. That's why I always say.. you want to stop a hot shooter? Put his ass on the ground. You have to get them out of their game and watching their back.

Been traveling all day and out working trying to avoid everything and my idiot best friend simply texts me "63-62" earlier.

It seemed like our 'base' defense was ever so slightly different today. There were a few times where guys were lost as to who to take and when to switch. I think the coaches are making some changes that will help in march, hopefully.
Kudos to the players and coaches. They played in a hostile environment and pulled out a great win!

If you do one thing at an elite level, Texas A&M can take that away. Had we not missed 7 FT in a row, and had we not been so tentative against ball pressure, that's a comfortable double digit win. Texas A&M should never kill clock in the face of heavy ball pressure. We have 3 point guards and multiple bigs who can drive past it. If you want to get your opponent out of the passing lanes, you do about 3 blow-bys, and they'll back off a step, unless they're 1998 Wojo and just enjoy getting abused.
