He's got a decent offensive skill set, but he's an elite rebounder. When he's on the glass he raises all of our other lowsy shooters effective FG% by about 10%.
He doesn't need to be taking 20 shots a game or anything, but so far this season he's our best 3pt shooter and only two players are better from 2.
The idea isn't that Andy needs to take bad shots or force the issue, but there's at least a couple of times a game where he's either open on the perimeter or has a lane to drive it and he passes it up. He needs to go ahead and take those opportunities.
Yeah, any shot he takes is a shot he's not rebounding, but it would be nice not to need so many offensive rebounds.
We're one of the worst teams in the country at actually putting the ball in the basket, we can't have one of our few players actually good at it passing up opportunities.
