I was hoping for 4-2. but expecting 3-3. When we started 0-1, I was bummed and expecting the worse. The team has answered the poor finish against Oregon to win 4 in a row against solid competition.

My favorite opponent thus far has got to be Rutgers! Harper and Bailey will be super star studs in the NBA. Both are fun to watch and I thought they played with a great level of sportsmanship...not cocky or thugish! Very lieable players! I hope they o well!

I agree! Watching those two light it up in March will be fun and terrifying! I was excited to see us against Kalkbrenner of Creighton, but he disappeared lol

I don't see a reason not to hope for a win against Purdue. We're getting better and better on defense and we will be well rested for the matchup.

This is the best Basketball I've seen us play since Acie Law and crew. The schedule is ridiculous and watching Auburn dismantle Ohio St currently. Having said that can this be our best season ever?

Now 2 cup cakes and then the grind of getting through the toughest basketball conference in the country

The team that went 5-1 also had that first half vs Southern, maybe the worst I've seen in a long time. Isn't that crazy? Remember that can happen half to half, game to game. Focus on the big picture

In terms of regular season record, no. We are probably going to take a decent number losses in SEC play. KenPom numbers also this team isn't as efficient as a some previous teams.

And ''Best team ever' trophy will be hard to ever hand out to a team that doesn't make an Eight Eight. It will be mostly about March. This team has a chance at a Top-4 seed entering conference play which is nice place to be.

At this second, 3 quad 1 wins (including Purdue).

Ohio St. may drop from the club tomorrow though.

Today was the first game it felt to me that everything is coming together . Wasn't perfect by any stretch but there weren't any"what the heck are they trying to do" moments that I can think of. defensive intensity was dialed up the entire game.

As we wrap up this 6 game stretch and now head into the final 2 non-conference games we are sitting at 5 combined Quad 1&2 wins. Only three other teams in the country can say the same: Auburn, Alabama, and Memphis.

Great job by Buzz and his staff to get through this stretch. By KenPom we have the 22nd hardest SOS thus far. Lots of it away from home. Buzz talked about the load it has been on the guys in his presser yesterday. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.

Proud of the group. They did better this 6 game stretch than I predicted. Happy to be proved wrong. Boys get to be home now for over three weeks. Start of SEC play is going to be tough so I'm glad they have a break and time home in Aggieland.

I think we are already well rested compared to a lot of teams. Buzz has been running a 10 man rotation pretty nicely. Outside of Taylor at 30 min per game, we have a cluster of guys avg about 22 min per game. There are not too many top 25 teams that can say that.
