I think most of us wanted yall to keep Rodney around as long as possible...even as much as it might benefit us in the long run, the tongue hanging out and yelling "Let's Go" in our players' faces in the handshake line makes me never want to see him again. I know horns fans wouldn't miss him either.

My dream when was appointed interim is that he'd do well enough that they had to sign him and then mire them in however many years of (relative) mediocrity we can get out of him. So far so good. Texas' mediocre is better than ours is, but still, I think he's doing great and they should sign him to a lifetime contract.
